Truck wouldn't start, 2 different times?

About 2 weeks ago I put the key in the ignition and turned it and nothing, I tried a few times and nothing, so I took the key out, flipped it over and tried it and it started. It never did it again, it has been fine up until today and it did something different. I got in the truck after it being started a few times this morning and when I turned the key, I could hear the started motor running and just hitting the flywheel, not really grinding, more of a scraping sound, turned it off and tried it again and the same thing. I tried it one more time and it started. I must have turned it off and started it more than 20 times today and it was fine? I have 2600 miles on my 2010 F250 CC, I traded in my 2004 with 68000 miles because I was afraid of getting stuck, now I have a new $53000 truck that I am afraid of getting stuck with, I can't ever win.
