08 6.4 headgaskets next?

Im looking at an 08 6.4 job 1. Truck has 80000 miles and only a couple little things on oasis ,one being egr cooler. Question is lower Egr cooler was replaced 6000 miles ago,should I expect any issues with headgaskets because of this? Complaint was truck running hot/overheating. Previous owner was anal about maintainace,so Im sure he got it fixed right away.Im familiar with GM diesel and am thinking about making the switch to the 6.4. I just dont want to buy into a bunch of problems. BTW this truck has NEVER had radiator put in it. Ive looked at the truck twice and it is dry .
