Time R&R Cab to replace HPFP

Can anyone give me a good ballpark on what kind of labour time I would be looking at to have a shop remove and replace the cab on my pickup to replace the HPFP?

Looks like i will have to go to a private shop. Ford is not willing to work with me.

no idea but that sucks. Why isn't Ford working with you?

It is usually a 3-4 week wait to get into a dealer in Alberta. I have had it in, and diagnosed, but they told me to take the truck as it would be a week before it got fixed...Every time I try to book it in, I have to go to work. The truck is my livelihood so no truck no work.

Just booked it in today on for April 8, but no guarantees that they will fix it in a timely manner. Might have to sit there for a week or so before they look at it.

I'm sure I will get the obligatory "go to a different dealer" response, but I have tried several in my town, and several others throughout the province and they are all the same. Getting action out of them is like herding cats.

I've done a job like that in 4-5 hours, but it calls for more time. I wouldn't be supprised if you get quoted 8-10 hours.
