EGR Valve

I have a 2008 Model truck. The check engine light came on and a few minutes later the truck lost almost all of its power. It would idle fine but would only go about 5 mph. It gradually worked itself out and was pretty much back to normal after a few minutes. I had my buddy hood it up to his reader and it said the EGR valve as bad or going bad. Is this something that is covered under the warrenty or should I be prepared to pay for it?

If you got it fixed great.... but Yes, I believe this is covered under the emissions warranty.....

It is covered under the engine warranty. Had mine replaced end of February with 39k miles on it.
