Best Tuner to clear Codes and DPF Delete for 6.4??

I can't seem to find fuel consumption figures for a stock F-450 4x4 CC...

But they can't be too good..

Am guessing Tuner, Code Clearer, and DPF Delete will improve it to an acceptable level? Yes?

Or just save my money.. And run her stock?

I have to go 430 Gears F-450 4x4 for heavy towing job, so what is the bad news??

Thanks in advance

if you go up to the performance section there are a number of people with 450's running a tuner. search for "spartan"

A DPF delete will really help in mpg's. It'll pay for itself in no time. Only downside is it will void your warrenty.

Thank you Dusten,

I read about the "Spartan" for the performance tunes, just do not know if it also can clear codes and do a DPF delete?

the spartan is the king of the dpf delete. and yes it reads and clears codes. the tuner is pretty amazing in what it can do. its also a full gauge set.

Wow!

That is impressive!

Guess Spartan is it. Funny, it seems like there is a specialty tuner for each engine of each truck... Like all the rage for our Duramax is the EFI Live, And for our 6.0s it seems the SCT and Erics Custom Tunes from Innovative Diesel Performance was all the Rage for the 6.0 and worked for us in our Fleet.... So now the the new engine, Spartan must be something new just for the 6.4 ... OK, I will go Spartan I guess..

Love the Gauge display, looks good...

eric is writing some decent tunes with the sct, but the spartan tuner is better, and the transmission program is better

its the 6.4 day theme. you just touch the gauge to change what you want it to read. this theme has those gauges in place, i just picked what i wanted to see.

****, this is getting frustrating. I looked and I don't have the day theme. Got nite, sport, metal and sumpin else. I've loaded the Ford specifics 4 times and still only get 56 parameters, not the 400 Spartan tech says I should get...
