6.4 no compression on #2 cyl
got a buddy with a 08 f350 dually king ranch, he has not changed his oil like recommended so ford voided his warranty and said he needs a 19,000 engine for lack of maintenance, cause oil filter was collapsed. the truck is really slow to crank about 15-20 seconds then it starts rough and pours whitish blue smoke out, and sounds like it is skipping. ford also told him he had water in the fuel. he said that no check engine light ever came on either. i know the guy is a dumb azz for not maintain it, and i dont really fill to srry because of this. but i wont to see what you all thought.

Sucks to be him. How many miles does it have? You probly wont find many of those motors in the junkyard yet but thats where i would look first.

yea i try to tell him just cause its a diesel it aint low maintenance, he thinks a diesel is get in and go lol, defiantly not in to days diesel they are to high tech. and do u think cause of the no compression he needs a motor, it couldnt be a stuck injector stuck valve, bent pushrod, or something else

it could be a bent push rod or sumthin on that side of the valley if it wusnt such a pain in the *** i would tell him 2 pull valve covers and see wuts goin on but **** that lol
hmmm maybe sumthin with gaskets 2 since there is no compression |

loss compression
my 08 6.4 is at the dealer right now for loss compression on cylinder 8 the block had to be honed new piston, pushrod, roller rockers, injector and a brand new head... all that getting replaced should get it back tomorrow

overfueling
68000 miles of ragging the **** out of the truck, the tech told me the cause was overfueling and a heavy foot
|

|||

he was towing a goose neck and a skidloader at the time it broke but he was only 6 miles from where he hooked up to the trailer
