Belt noise

was leavin the alignment shop yesterday and when i pulled out on the road, i turned the air on and it sounded like the belt squealed/whined for s split second and then stopped....did it again today...is this common or a problem...
i have heard other diesels do it but never on a ford...just wanted to check to see if i need to do anything???

probably a bad belt. its an easy fix

Just a belt. Over time they get worn out since they are just rubber and will squeal. Might be able to tighten it up or just replace the belt.

surely the belt aint wore out already...its an '08 with 35k miles...
