Loud "rattle" noise
I have a 2008 f250 with 67k miles on it. I had spartan 210 with dpf/cat delete on it. I had noticed the noise similiar to the normal "diesel rattle" but louder and sounded like it might have been coming from the driver side. I just got back from a trip to Colorado and noticed that my rear differential input shaft seal was leaking so I put my dpf back on and returned to stock tune. I pulled a trailer to town with a 17k lbs lift to town and noticed it to be even louder. Anybody have any ideas what it might be or what I might check out. Thanks

I am guessing you changed the exhaust and air intake system.
These changes make the truck louder. The noise may have already been there but now it just radiates into the cab more because the engine is quieter with the stock parts. |

I noticed it with my dpf delete pipe on and noticed it was worse when I was pulling a heavy trailer. This is my 4th powerstroke and have never heard this, guess I will take it to my wonderfull dealership and let them walk around it and scrathc their heads.
