Coolant Puking Solutions?
After towing my 10k fifth wheel up a steep, winding, road yesterday I got home and found a 2x3 puddle of coolant under the pickup. Without a doubt it was coming from the degas bottle. My pickup is stock with 6k miles.
I've done a several searches and nobody seems to know the cause/ cure other than headgastkets. Has anyone found a solution excepting the dreaded headgasket? |

If the head gasket is bad then there is no other solution. If it's not bad that won't help. You just need to take it in and get it checked.
How hot was it? How much coolant lost? Extended periods of high boost will cause damage. |

It was about 95 degrees ambient and 30 percent humidity. The coolant puddle on the ground was about 2x3, so maybe a quart. Strangely, it didn't seem to puke until after I shut it down. I towed again this weekend and had no problems.
I'm going to drop it off at the dealer tomorrow morning. |
