Noob suspension question...

So I'm looking into doing an all around coilover lift kit and was wondering about the ICON 7-9" 4 link kit. How much would I have to add to get 40 inchers under it? Also I'm planning to do the OUO traction bars in the rear, and was wondering what all would have to be modified to do coilovers in the rear and do away with the leaf springs.

Thanks guys.

You are looking at a very similar setup to what im using on my truck. I am doing the Icon 4.5-6" coilover kit with 4 link, and the OUO traction bars in the rear. I will not be using coilovers in the rear. There are alot of mixed opinions on this but for my use i just dont see the need or the benefit. You might.....might...be able to clear 40s if yuo crank up the coilovers all the way. Id go with a 38 though personally.

Maybe I'd be better off looking into the 12" OUO and rear coilover conversion on that?

You can get OUO with coilovers front and rear.....if you want to launch the truck in the dunes you'll want a 16" lift though

So do the OUO systems come with the coilovers included?

The OUO systems are built to order. So we can and prefer to do OUO coilovers front and rear.

We list the systems by the themselves in our webstore and the coilovers and accessories are available by hitting the "Configure" button.

So hitting the Configure button on a 16" 500 series takes you here:

my 2006 with icon 7-9 coilovers

The ride is awesome, can run it from around 6 up to 9 inches.. i run mine at around 6-1/2..I have tried other kits with my numerous super dutys and this is by far the best kit..the picture is a true 37 inch gsa race tire and it never touches, my next tire will be 39 inch bfg projects..
