Anybody want to swap grills?

I have a 2008 XL with a black grill and my wife would love to swap for a chrome one. The truck doesn't even have 4,000 miles on it yet and the grill is in perfect shape. I saw some threads started by guys with chrome grills and wanting to swap for a black one but they are old. So is this something somebody would want to do?

I got two chrome bumpers in perfect shape that I would be willing to trade for painted or preferably black ones.

sorry dude,,, did it about a week ago,,, but i am sure you will find someone quick... i hate chrome, its ALL going away on my stroker.. only chrome that will be left is the tiny bit on the black wheels, and the side badges.

what i did was found a local cable service truck with a black grill and asked if they wanted a chrome one on there XL. took about 15 min. to do the swap.

I had the grill off when I installed the bug guard, your right it's pretty easy.

what was funny about mine, was the fact that when i asked him he wanted me to just do it right then,, i was on the side of the road while they worked on someones cable TV. pulled the tools out and went to work, talk about awkward....
