Drag truck idea...what do you guys think?
Ok, so I currently am running a 2.5" leveling kit and 35" Toyo Open Country MT's on my crew cab short bed F-250. I run the Spartan "310" tune, AFE stage 2, 5" exhaust, and an Air Dog II DF-165. I am getting ready to start drag racing the truck some. So....
1. Take out the 2.5" leveling kit block in the front 2. Put on a 33" wider all terrain tire a 20" wheel (want KMC Monsters, but not sure) 3. Take out the 2" stock rear blocks and put in 1" rear blocks 4. Single 7" stack What do you guys think? Last edited by 08stroker250; 06-15-2009 at 05:17 PM. |

Heres what I did and you can do what you want but this might help. Every truck sits a little different. I would take the leveling kit out and then measure the front and back with a tape from the ground to the top of the fender well. Then pull the spare tire and remeasure. Then I would pull the factory blocks and remeasure again to see if you need to put a 1" block back in. My truck ended up being a 1/2 inch low in the back by pulling the spare and the blocks. It doesnt bother me and looks level to me. Im not to crazy about stacks though. Good luck!
