Anyone remove their rear sway bar?
I was just wondering if anyone has removed thier rear sway bar on their 08.
Now that my truck is lifted i notice that little scrawny thing near the rear diff cover and it looks ghetto if you ask me, pretty wimpy, not sure if it does much, but its probably there for a reason. let me know what you all think |

I left mine on and just got the OUO brackets to level it out. I pull a fair amount so figure it can't hurt having it on there. Where they don't come with them on all the trucks I'm sure it's not really going to hurt anything to pull it off.

FYI a early 30mm sway bar will bolt up just like they did on earyler years..I don't know about the links to the frame as I just used the '97 links when I installed the '08 rear axle with a '97 big sway bar..

I left mine on as well, dunno if it helps or not, but I use mine as a truck a good bit.

mine's an 05, but i took mine off. I had the stock one, then a hellwig and now i don't have anything. I don't have any problems towing or normal driving. I like it better without it. Lots more flex off road, but if you don't go off road much, i'd leave it on.

I dont go off road too much other than at the lake with the camper or boat behind it, im fixin to take it off and go drive it, the only thing i can think of right now is in 2wd it might help keep the right rear from burning off more than normal,

I left mine on. I figured it aint hurtin anything. I do wish it was a little bit beefier looking seeing as how it is on a SUPERDUTY.
