lift question
I am planning on buying a 8 inch rize lift for the 2008 sd from boyercustomtruck.com,before I buy I need to know if I put a 2 inch spacer on this lift in the frt, will it cause added stress to the steering system?Should I just get the 10 inch super lift kit?I also noticed the new rize kits have bushings instead of hiems?which should i get the old type 1 kit or new designed type 2 kit?

10 inch is pretty big on the stock steering system. I would get a kit that is designed for that much lift.

I had a 8 Inch Rize on my 06 F350 with two inch spacers and had no problem after 40,000 miles that I put on it.
Go For it. As for the new kit, I have not seen or heard anything about that. |

Yes, they did change the 4-link arms design and now run bushings in the new ones. 10" is the max. safe height for the stock steering. Here's one we did: |

I like the new bars myself. I had the old ones on my truck and the only thing i didnt like is that the inside is not powdercoated and they started to rust.
