WINDOW MAKING A NOISE

My dang driver side window is making a noise, i was told that the motor prolly needs replaced, man that sucks cause i dont want to have to fight and put the stock exhaust back on the truck just to get a dang window motor replaced. i thought about just putting the stock dpf delete tune in it and then take it in for the window motor. i mean it should feel the same as stock so the should have no reason to look under the truck to replace the window motor. what do u guys think... or dose anyone know of a mod friendly dealer in northern virginia area that would care about the dpf missing if they fixed my window.

what kind of noise? mine has been making a noise since new, kind of a pressure noise like the window wants to roll up to far.

mine is the motor is what i was told, and it dose it when u roll up or roll the window down. I found a dealer that will work with me.

I wouldn't take in the truck with the DPF off or the software changed. They will probably check for any TSB that need to be done, including calibration updates. Then they will have a stroke when they find out that you don't have Ford software in the computer. Further, then will then start looking for other reasons to deny your warranty claim.

I already talked to the dealer and they said they didnt have a problem with it at all being modded because my window has nothing to do with my mods, he said they work on modded trucks all the time. So im good to go.
