Grille and Bumper Conversion

Ok, I have a white F-250 Lariat, just a plain Lariat with the chrome grille and bumpers. I want to go with black wheels, but not think they would look good at all with a chrome grille, bumpers, tube steps, and 6" tip. I would be willing to switch to the white and black Fx4 grille. Does anyone know of a good option for the bumpers to either make them black or another bumper option like the ones on an Fx4 truck. I would prefer not to spend a butt load since wheels are so much, but I am pretty set that I wont the KMC Rock Stars

I put out a trade offer to trade chrome for black and was unsuccessful in getting offers on both bumpers and the grill. I got a good offer on the rear bumper but it would have cost $100.00 in shipping for each bumper each way.

What I came up with is applying Line-X on both bumpers, which would cost about 130.00 for both.

I was able trade the grill with a local landscaper who had the XL package. If you want a pic of chrome bumpers and grill with black rock stars I can post one.

Those are XL painted bumpers...

I had my chrome bumpers stripped and painted black... and bought an FX4 grill and sold my chrome one on ebay. Everything cost less than $500 to switch from chrome to black (grill, front and rear bumpers)

What was the cost of the Fx4 grille?

Like $400 but I sold my lariat for $300

I would say do what 2008TTCC did. Get your current bumpers blasted and painted. Then buy an FX4 grille, sell your Lariat grille, and add any grille insert you want. I think your truck with a white FX4 grille, white bumpers, and black grille insert would look sick. You could do something with your vents too to make them match your grille. Like this truck but switch out the chrome for black. I can't picture black stock bumpers on a white truck but it may look good as well.
