I NEED....
Black Grill Inserts and Black Side Vent inserts that match for an FX4...
Anyone know where to find them? Carriage Works has them for the front but not the side vents... Thanks! Last edited by 2008TTCC; 02-12-2009 at 10:12 AM. |

Are you looking for mesh inserts or billet (bars) but black? How much is the Carriage Works?

About $200 for the front... but they dont make the sides... and there is no way in this lifetime or the next I will pay over a grand for RBPs grille.
Worst case scenario is get the carriage works black one and then take my billet side vents to get them Powder Coated.. Or hmmm... I wonder what it would look like with the Polished billet on the front... wouldnt be completely murdered out but I think that could look good as well... A little contrast. |

Well you can get the RBP for alot cheaper than list...I paid $770 for mine. Another option if you like the look of the RBP grille without the rivets is to get the T-Rex mesh grille in black. It is the same exact grille as the RBP just without the logo or rivets like mine...I think them make them for RBP. It lists for $565 at Z1 Motoring but I bet if you can you can get them to come down. They came down $200 on my grille. Then you could make some mesh side vents to match...that's what I have. You could also then have something cut out of stainless if you wanted to put your own emblem on the grille.
The black billet would be a cool option too though...never seen it done with the side vents and grille as black billet bars. |

What y'all think would look better...
1) Polished Billet Bars for Front Grill and Side Vents or 2) Black Bars for Front Grill and Side Vents These wheels are these, they have some chrome on them but not that much... is it enough to need chrome in other part of the truck to incorporate the chrme on the wheels?

I say black bars. I think the polished would stick out too much against the FX4 since it is the whole middle section. Another option is to paint the center of your FX4 gloss black to match and powder your billet side vents. I like the center of the FX4.

Well I can get the Front Grill already Powder coated black from carriage works then all I would have to do is get the sides powder coated...
