Aftermarket bumper affecting mpgs?

I've been looking into getting front and back iron cross bumpers on my 2008 f350. Should I expect a significant drop in mpg? If so, how much? Any help is appreciated

I wouldn't think a significant amount but depending on weight, it will affect your mpg. It's not adding rolling mass weight but I believe most aftermarkets are going to be at least twice as heavy as oem especially with brush guards

Agreed with above. Weight will effect your MPGs, the aero effect will not. You are already driving a rolling brick.

When I replaced both of my bumpers I saw a tiny decrease in mileage, IIRC .2 MPG (That's two tenths of one mpg.)

2008 (Job 1) F250 King ranch 4x4, snow plow prep package with 2.5 level. Black Maxx, B&W Diehard platinums. Dieselsite coolant and transmission filters, NCU Motorsports/amsoil oil bypass kit. Turbo blankets, 5.5 PMF traction
Please collect and message me Shell, Rotella oil cap codes aka "my miles matter" I'm trying to save up for a hat or something.
