I pulled the inner fender liner to get mine out. Once it was pulled I used the side of a deadblow hammer to tap the pegs out of the holes from the inside. I have taken mine out twice takes about 10 min each side.

I just pryed them out softly with a screwdriver with a soft rag behind it. Once I had the top I just worked my way around. I've had mine off three times.

you can access them from inside the engine compartment. pop the hood and then stand on something like a step ladder to get better access. just reach inside the fender and you can feel it. it has rectangular nubs with metal clips that hold the vent on. gently push outward on the vent and it will just pop out. be sure tou use your other hand to catch it so it doesnt hit the ground and get scratched.

Yah the easiest way I found was to go through the engine compartment, but I also taped around the badges real good and pryed behind them a little with a screwdriver. Sometimes you can't completely get your hand in to release one of the tabs, so the screwdriver helps.
