So are the Bilstein 5100's a good route to go?

The fronts include the bushings, washers and nut for the top. Stock hardware on the bottom.

Rears use stock hardware.

For the Rize 6" we run the following:
Bilstein 5100 - 5"-6" Front Lift Application - 2005-2008 Superduty 4wd - 5100 Series (Lifted Applications) - Truck Toyz Store
Bilstein 5100 - 3"-4" Rear Lift Application - 2005-2008 Superduty 4wd - 5100 Series (Lifted Applications) - Truck Toyz Store

The 3-4" listed for the rear is because the rear is 3-4" taller than stock with a 6" suspension lift in the front.

Sounds good.

As for your question about them being a good shock, I run them on my 07 and really like them.

The CAD plating seems to hold up pretty well. I'm in road salt all the time with the truck and no issues, but I did spray them with a rust and corrosion preventative.

For a great shock at a good price you cannot beat the bilsteins....BUT, my truck with the FabTech 2.5 rezzies rides better than it did with 5100's without a doubt...so much better that people that are not even "enthusiasts" notice.

My truck rode good with the 5100s but I can tell a difference with the Icon Res shocks I put up front...rides a bit better. Both are great shocks though.
