wheel n tire help

so right now im able to get a set of 4 KMC monsters in black in 20"x10" for $800 OTD. im wanting to go with toyo open country M/T's either in 38" or 40" depending on how i set up my lift, but either way the tires will be 15.50" wide. my question is will those wide of a tire (15.50" wide) fit on a 10" wide wheel, or would i have to go with the 12" wide rockstars??

thanks
-mike

I would go with a 12" width wheel since the tire is a 15.50. Looks better and the tires will wear better.

I'm running the 15.50s on a 20x10 monster with no issues at all. There aren't many 20x12 wheels to choose from. A few others are running the 15.50s on 10" wheels with no issues at all either.

ya im almost thinking the 20x12" rockstar would be the best for that wide of a tire. however, i hate the fact that where i live everyone and their mom has rockstars, plus i just like the monsters a lot better.

hey jrod80, you think you could snap a couple of different pics of your wheels and tires sit and whatnot. that would be greatly appreciated!

thanks
