Only if you live in the states Ford considers a cold weather state...
I've owned three 08's and not a one came with the cord...

I stand corrected. Wouldn't be the first time a dealer has lied.

so all of the 6.4 diesels have the element we just need to install the cord and we are good to go?

There are currently 2 cords listed on ebay. An OEM one for $76.99 + shipping and a non-OEM one for $17.99 + shipping.

Not a hard choice there.
