awesome. thanks for the tips. the only thing that worries me about paint vs. powder caoting is the paints durability. it would just suck to paint them all then have the guys putting the tires back on chip it or something. But for the cost difference I guess it would be that bad. I just dont want to be screwing with them all the time.

I wouldn't dismount the tires, just tape around the edges and get to spraying. but i would take the tires/wheels off the truck....overspray gets everywhere

does anyone know of a lugnut for aftermarket wheels that will allow my harley centercaps to fit back on

Mine were pretty cheap to get powdercoated, I think it was $35 a wheel, the guys at the powdercoating shop ended up telling me I didn't need to sandblast them, so they just scuffed them up first.

i agree, just scuff em with about a 100-120v grit then prep em then paint. the paint is only 30% of the finished product. 70% is prep. make sure you use a degreasing cleaner after you scuff it then wsuggest a self etching paint for the colour

Thanks man. That truck looks cool. I had a hard time when I bought mine choosing between the two different harley paint job's. I like them both a lot.

As for the paint jobs i told the sales man i didnt care witch paint job it had i liked them both and this was the only one they had

I just went and got a price this morning on powder coating my wheels. The guy told me $80 a rim. Thats canadian dollars. I think thats pretty good. I seen some of there work and it looked great. Cant wait to get them done
