Another quick question? What do you guys do about the tire pressure sensors in our tires when you have 38's? Do the bigger tires throw a code or how does that work?

yeah I guess I could just tell them to leave mine out. Let me ask you guys this will the 6" on 37's have the same effect that the 8 on 38's will as far as the vibration of the drive shaft or does it make any difference. That vibration worries me a little, I want my truck to still ride decently smooth and not feel all kinds of different things.Again sorry for so many questions you guys just make it really easy to ask them because you guys know the answers right away

Yea everything I know I've pretty much gotten it here for the most part. My vibration is hardly noticeable...in fact I'm the only one who notices it. But I will fix it completely at some point. As far as tires jump on Toyo's website and do a dealer search in your area. I personally would rather buy local as alot of places offer free lifetime balance and rotation, flat repair, etc. which can add up. I bought mine at Les Schwab Tire Center...retail was $510 and I paid $485 plus mount and balance.

Well I didn't say he had to buy them there, just letting him know what I paid and where. I'm sorry you've had bad experiences with Les Schwab but I've had nothing but good experiences with my local one. I have gotten to know the managers and they have bent over backwards to make me happy and I've always gotten a very fair price on tires with excellent service. Hell the manager drove out of his way on a Friday night to pick up my 38s in his personal truck and hour and a half away so I could have them Saturday morning.

I called a tire place here in my home town and told them I wanted to price Toyo Open country MT's in a 38x13.5x20 so they said they would check prices and call me back. The guy called me back and told me the 38x13.5x20 were out of stock but they were 425 a tire but they told me they were having a sale on 38x15.5x20 for $396 a tire but that won't work becuase Im running a 20 inch KMC diesel wheel and they are 10 inches wide and those call for minimum 11" so I guess that's not gonna work. Do those prices seem pretty cheap though I thought they were very reasonable!
