Trim on the bottom of the doors

Hello all,

I have an 2008 KR 250 SD and the trim on the bottom of my doors are faded really bad. The rest of the paint looks perfect. How can I remove these? Are they glued on or clips? If glued, is there any kind of release agent that can be applied without damaging the paint?

The rubber door ding guards? I used a heat gun and they peeled right off, no residue, took 10 minutes
