Good lucking truck man, like the topper, and that grille swap really made a difference in the overall appearance, going to look good with the lift and some new wheels!

Thanks. I can't wait to get the lift and tires done. One thing
I forgot to mention, though, is that with the shell on I'm now getting
like 18.5 MPG going 70 down the freeway with the air on. That's
just from one 50 mile trip down the freeway and reading from
the dash meter, though. But, lately, prior to the shell install
I was getting around 15.2 MPG ...

I don't know if there is a specific torque. I've moved mine a bit and retightened it. It just went tight but not too tight. It just needs to be tight enough that it wouldnt move. If you go nuts you might break the fiberglass but I think you'd have to really go overboard. Just look at how far its flexed with it tightened and you can see when it looks about right.

How about a closeup of how the door covers the tailgate lip? this seemsto be where other companies fall down

Thanks, I was looking to order an leer or ST but I would like to see how they fit first, the ones I have seen looks like they werent made for the truck!
