Towing mirror mods?

I'm a 7-3 guy, but have 08 mirrors

I have a question for all of you 6-4 guys out there with the same towing mirrors...have any of you attempted to set of strobes in the side markers?

I was thinking about it and was wondering where to route the wires for it, or if it's even worth the hassle!

Would look pretty sharp though

you could probably just take off the mirror glass piece and run your wires through there to the marker lenses. and just take and run the rest of the wires through your door and go to where ever it needs to go.

Great idea. How easy do the mirror lenses come off?

if you tilt the glass mirror all the way in, you can reach in and gently pop out the marker lights. Not real difficult, just be gentle with the clips.
