aux lights

Has any one installed led aux lights in the rear of the truck so you can see while backing up.

Lightbars on the right and left are controlled by an aux switch and the little squares and lightbar above the license plate are wired into reverse.

Ive been looking at oracle led off road lights. I mainly need them for plowing but I also want them to be bright. How much light arr you getting back there? Is it a lot?. I also really don't like the look of them back there so if I tucked them underneath bumper so they are a bit hidden back there do you think the light coming from them will still produce?

I wish mine were brighter but they are el cheapo lights from auto zone. My windows are tinted pretty dark so I'm sure they would be adequate if I didn't have such dark tint.

If you buy quality lights, you'll have no issues. Each one of those 2" square lights I have near the hitch produce 900 lumen each. The left and right lightbar are 3440 lumens each and the license plate light is 2052 lumens. I can see very well when backing up or hooking a trailer up at night.

This is a picture of just the two lightbars controlled by the aux switch turned on. It was pitch black where I was.
