Paint Code

I have a black 08 F250. I'm wanting to order via the phone
a SnugTop or ARE Shell/Capper. I understand the shell
can be color matched to the factory paint code via a color
code that is listed somewhere on the truck. I looked in the
likely locations and can't find a paint code. Is it on the plate
in the driver's side door area, and if so where exactly? TIA ...

Not sure myself, but I found this on the net for ya:

# Usually found: Driver side door Jamb (6).

I think the black is UD I believe it says EXT PNT UD

Its bottom corner of the blue tag right above WB wheel base and the int trim code.

Can't help ya on the 08 bud, but if its anything like the 05 the code will be on the driver side door and should say something like EXT PNT: and it will be followed by a 2 letter code such as CX or something of that sort. Thats your paint code.

Edit: Yep, that's where is was ... and I've got my SnugTop
ordered
