I talked to a diesel mechanic at the local ford dealer about lifting an 08 and tires, and he brought up that he thinks its pretty stupid for these guys going out and buying 35s and paying over $1,000 for one more inch of tire. So i believe hes right they are pretty close to a 35

Factory tires were roughly 34 x 11 on my truck. I had lots of trouble with them (Goodyears) to the tune of 6 flats within a couple of months - so swapped them out. I have found that there are many more options in the 35x12.5 size for all-terrain and mud tires. What is available in P-metric tends to be highway tires, which are good enough for most. |

My factory tires are 33.7 inches tall. They are 275/70/18 continentals and they suck.
