I have the FX4 package and fit Dick Cepek F/CII's in 35 x 13.5 on my truck with little to no rubbing even with major axel flex. You should have no problems

Go with the 35's! trust me...I've got pretty much the same setup except I have a leveling kit. I was a rookie when it came to wheels/tires too so I did the same thing when picking a package...I'm definitely gonna get bigger tires next time. I don't like the "rubber band" look of my setup.

i doubt the factorys are 34s

Well thats is what i had in mind but i don't think they make 35s for an 18 inch rim. I had BFG a/t on my f-150 and they wore good and went good off and on road. Plus they make the truck look better.

Make sure to get a positive offset on the wheel and a 35 will fit no problem.

I talked to a diesel mechanic at the local ford dealer about lifting an 08 and tires, and he brought up that he thinks its pretty stupid for these guys going out and buying 35s and paying over $1,000 for one more inch of tire. So i believe hes right they are pretty close to a 35

Factory tires were roughly 34 x 11 on my truck. I had lots of trouble with them (Goodyears) to the tune of 6 flats within a couple of months - so swapped them out.

I have found that there are many more options in the 35x12.5 size for all-terrain and mud tires. What is available in P-metric tends to be highway tires, which are good enough for most.

My factory tires are 33.7 inches tall. They are 275/70/18 continentals and they suck.
