Tired of the crappy reverse lights and tinted windows?

I know I was, so I decided to make acidification with parts I had at the house. I had two Hella off road lights I had for my silverado. So since I didn't use them on that truck I decided to mount them to some pre-existing holes in my hitch, and t-tap them into my reverse harness. They work, trust me, they work. I can see while backing up now!

I did the same thing with some lights I had from Walmart, I didn't do the greatest job though haha wires ripped out with snow and ice build up on them, it does make a huge difference with a tinted back window though.

Thanks for letting me know about snow and ice with the wiring. Guess I will have to figure something out to protect them.

I'd say just tuck the wiring up in somewhere and get it ziptied good especially where you did any wire splicing

Thankfully I didn't splice I just tapped into the harness but I did it about 6" behind the taillight assembly.

I wish I could post a link to another forum. But this guy on there bought the Rigid Industries flush mount lights and put them in his rear bumper and they are brighter than most headlights and look awesome how he installed them
