Warn Winch Behind Factory Bumper?
I've been wanting a winch but I want it to be hidden so I was looking in Diesel Power Magazine and saw they had a article about putting the winch behind the bumper? Anyone one try this or heard for this?

Its about 5-6 inches...if you look at the pic you can see the side of the bumper and you can see the black filler plastic piece...thats how far it pushes it out. Goes out a good bit, but still a very clean install....I am not a fan of the big a$$ bumpers at all....IMO theres nothing good to come from adding that couple hundred pounds to the front of your truck, not to mention I dont plan on running into any cows anytime soon |
