Warn Winch Behind Factory Bumper?

I've been wanting a winch but I want it to be hidden so I was looking in Diesel Power Magazine and saw they had a article about putting the winch behind the bumper? Anyone one try this or heard for this?

I had called Warn before getting my RA bumpers and was told they were not planning to make one for the 08s. Couldn't hurt to call them though.

I thougnt they had the kits.......I seen pics I thought in a mag...but it moves the bumper forward like 5-7 inches I think, and they give you a filler piece to put in the gap.

Same thing that I saw, I was just wondering if anyone had the kit installed? Raul is there anyway for you to find out and I'll buy the kit and winch from you?

I wish I could see the install pics and see how far it pushes the bumper out.

I know a guy back home that had one on an '06. At first glance you don't really even notice it, pretty cool set up.

Its about 5-6 inches...if you look at the pic you can see the side of the bumper and you can see the black filler plastic piece...thats how far it pushes it out.

Goes out a good bit, but still a very clean install....I am not a fan of the big a$$ bumpers at all....IMO theres nothing good to come from adding that couple hundred pounds to the front of your truck, not to mention I dont plan on running into any cows anytime soon
