Headlight Lens Removal

Ok, so I want to remove my headlights so I can use some spray tint on them to darken em up...where do I start? Is it relatively easy? Want to make sure I don't screw anything up or jack up my blood pressure too much (who woulda thought removing the grill insert on a FX4 grill would be such a pain?)...

And how do you remove the lenses on the mirror marker lights? Gonna do those too....

Again, thanks for all the help! You guys make this pretty easy for a newbie to the mod world!

Don't know, but here is a bump for you. I might want to try this too at some point.

im no pro but the mirror light are easy....push the mirror glass itself towards the door and inside the lower right corner there is a tab you can push with a blunt object ( bone tool or something less solid) push on it as you work the lens outwards and they will come right out without too much force......the headlights are held in with six bolts one on top of the two down the inside od the core support and one under the bottom corner towards the fender.....hope this helps good luck on the tinting post up some pics when done

Thanks for the info! Didn't know if anyone was gonna chime in and give me a hand. Just don't want to break anything! Might see about the headlights tonight, will get pics up as soon as I am done and figure out how to post them!
