Largest tire on 2008 F-350 Dually
Hey Guys Kinda new to the board. What is the largest tire I can put on a stock rim.
I have LT 245/75 R17 Right now. A tire guys said on a dually that you have be careful that you don't want them to rub together under load. I really want taller tires than anything. thanks Justin

Its easy to decide what you want when you understand tire measurements....Basically since your going to stay with the stock wheel lets simplify it for you...Your going to want to stay with a relatively narrow tire...The 245 basically is referring to the width...If you want a taller tire, without adding width, your going to want to increase the second number, or the 75. Your tires right now are approx. 31.5"x9.5"......You can probably play it safe by going up to a 33"x10.5" or a 33"x11.5". You will probably have to do some test fitting, as you put more weight in the truck, the tires will balloon a little bit, and you dont want them rubbing.
