Broken power mirror

I recently discover this thread and used it to attack my broken passenger side mirror. Power Fold Fix for $5

With that said, my problem is not the same. My gear is fine, but the little motor that controls the folding function is not working. When power is applied the motor make one-three turns then stops and will not restart. I tried helping it restart and its dead. Tried different plugs with same effect. Top motor works great. I can not locate a replacement motor and was wondering if you guys could help me out on where to find one.

Its burning me up that such a small part may end up costing north of $500.

Part number on motor is as follows: FC-280PB-16200
BC (or D) 757y23 BC757Y23 or BD757Y23
Made in China

Did you ever find a replacement motor? I am having a similar problem where the motor runs fine then sounds like it is grinding.
