service powerscope mirrors

I have an '08 with the heated power-scope side view mirrors.

The drivers side mirror doesn't like to retract all the way, and sometimes when I use the power button to extend it into tow mode, it sticks and I have to put some outward pressure on it while hitting the button to get it to go.

Are there any instructions on how to disassemble the mirror to try and figure out whats causing it to stick?

I tried lubricating it with no luck.

Thanks

What would I suggest I search on? I've looked around and saw your posts on separating the two halves of the mirror body prior to posting. Maybe i'm missing something, but i'm looking for some guidance on servicing the extension arms??

Thanks

Here is the link to the thread Power Fold Fix for $5. It will at least help you get them apart, I bet the gears are bad on the extenders should be able to fix them the same way. Hope it helps you out these mirrors aren't cheep.
