Window Vents

Does anyone know of a source for "White Window Vents" to fit our 08's.
I had a set painted by Ford for my 2004 (white) and within a couple of years they started to turn a yellowish..... I would like to find some white from the factory so I will not have a fad issue.

Had my bug deflector and window vents painted white at a local body shop with automotive paint, i don't think i will have a problem with them turning yellow or fading.

I have never seen a body color window vent ever other than custom painted ones. If you want to stop them from yellowing, you need to have a shop that know what they are doing paint them, no cheap airbrushing. They need to be fully sealed with primer and multiple layers of paint to keep them from fading or yellowing over time. Keep them black IMO they will give a good accent to the truck.

I watched the Ford Body shop put 4 coats on and then 2 coats of clear coat...
I do not like the black ones I want them to match...Would be ok to match the lower tan of the King Ranch...
Oh well....

I dont know what kind of vents you are buying but I have done several of them in the past with no problems (yellowing).
You should start with the clear ones, scuff the back side then paint them with your color, then put some clear on them. I know alot of shops get the smoke and paint the outside of them.
I have done several bug shields, window vents, and rear window spoilers. Most were white, my last truck was a 2000 and I painted them when I bought the truck, when I got rid of it six months ago they were still in great shape.
Hope this helps.
