Side Vents

Got a break from the rain for a few minutes and threw these on. I think it looks better than the faded red. Side Vents-imageuploadedbyautoguide1370392629.770259.jpgSide Vents-imageuploadedbyautoguide1370392646.347034.jpg

I've got the same ones on mine, and I agree, I think they look much better than the crappy red plastic ones. I don't know about yours, but I didn't pay very much for mine. It's the only purely cosmetic thing I've done to my truck, and it was definitely worth it.

I think I paid around 28$ on eBay. Well worth it. Thinking about doing the billet inserts on the grill next.

I saw some backlit side vents the other day on a 2012. Any idea on where to buy the lights?

I installed some marker lights inside the fender behind my side vents. I am planning to upgrade to LEDs for a little brighter light, but you can put in any light behind them and it will shine through.

How at your lights activated? Off the main light switch, up fitter or dedicated switch?

my lights behind the side vents are turned on with the parking lights. I just tied into the wire up at the headlight.
