FX4 Fender flares..

I have a Silver FX4 and HATE the charcoal flares..Has anyone removed their flares and have pics?

I am Seriously considering removing these!

P.S. am checking on powder coating colors tommorow and if they can get VERY close to the silver I am doing the bumpers also!

I'm thinkin that paint will have some markin from the flares being on there. Depends on how many miles they have been on there.

I was going to take one off last night and couldnt figure the crews out and didnt wana F' em up incase the paint is scrathed..

BTW the truck has 300 miles on it..

I haven't seen them removed before but I am interested in seeing what the paint looks like after they have been on there.

I with you on the grey flares...I hated them! I took them off and had my bumpers painted to match and I like it much much better. I must warn you that alot of patients is required to get the glue off. Paint looks great, but it took most of the day to get all of the glue off. Here's a pic.

I took mine off and had them painted along with the bumpers and fender inserts. The glue is easily removed with some laquer thinner and I didin't notice any scratches under mine. Here is a couple pics.

No, the screws you can screw out and the others you will probably have to pry out with a pocket knife or something.
