plasti dip opinions/questions

Couple questions with the plasti dip i have an xl and im thinking of doing the front of the grill cause its my understanding if i were to buy an rbp grill it kind fits in behind the front fascia already on the truck? i think it would be kinda tacky to kep the fascia gray with a black grill im going with the white and black theme? Any opinions or pictures of people that have done the same greatly appreciated!

I used plasti dip on my grill shell/surround last spring with my royalty core grill. Still in good shape.

awesome, with most grills do you have to cut it and fit it to the factory front part?

Some you do have to cut to fit, some you drill some holes, others mount in front (inserts), all depends on the brand and style you purchase, each company and style of grill or insert is deferent. Most of the websites will give a little description, if not maybe give them a call to clarify. Good luck choosing I'm still trying to decide on what I want to go with, there's so many to choose from!

Hey Clayton what material is the royalty core grill where you used the plastidip? Do you guys have a lot of crap on your roads and rocks up there like we do here in the city? Interesting that its on the front exposed to all the usual elements and holding up good, might just have to experiment with white on the front of mine then

yeah i like the black rbp ones but the whole cutting thing is holding me back a little i know i could do it but with that since its a solid grill and takes up the whole front i would have to really chop up the stock grill to get the horizontal parts off right?

Yes, you have to cut out alot of crap, so if you screw up you're kind of screwed.
The royalty core i had them PTM the borders of the "inserts" and the grill/mesh is black.
I plasti dipped the chrome oem grill surround, the part that says "superduty" on it.

Ill post some pics here in a min...
