Hood Deflector/Bug Shield
What seems to be the best bug shield? I have been considering ordering the ford oem smoked shield. Anyone have this? Hard to install? How do you like it?

I took mine off, the bugs were still splattering on the windshield and it didnt like automatic car washes.

Mine is stainless...I'll never go back to a plastic shield ever again.

I have a plastic one from AVS. cost 35 bucks as far as mounting it matches up with existing screw holes in the hood. takes about 10 minutes

Had one on my older Excursion and it was totally different. |

Here you go. bought it from campercity.com a place in memphis,tn. its the only place i have seen them also know egr makes the same one i got mine for about 70 dollars, probably because they put the wrong bugshield on first and couldnt fix it the same day and gave it to me for the price of the other cheaper one. good luck with yours i know it also comes in black.
