10" lift kit or 8" w/ 2"spacer to fit 40" tires on 08 f250?

Hey guys. I'm finally back into a powerstroke. Picked up a 2008 6.4 CCSB Job2. I'm going to be running 40's and it looks like 10" is what I need. It looks a though an 8" w/ 2" spacer would be cheaper and then would allow me to lower it a bit in the future.

The tires are 40x15.50r22 and rims are 22x10.5, 4.75" backspace and -25mm offset.

Just looking for advise on which route to go and if someone has a similar setup post some pics! Thanks.
