Wheel Trade, Is this a good deal or should i stay clear

I found a guy a couple hundred miles away from me who wants to trade his aftermarket wheels for my stock. I have been looking to upgrade to black wheels but i really have no idea how much my stock ones are worth. They are KR and idk what brand his are, they would not be my first choice but for practically free I would run them. What do you think, I know I eventually want to run black wheels but maybe a different brand/style.

Those are nice rims if you are trading them based off the rims not tires!! If i was to ball park those rims, i would say they are worth about $1200-$1300

My vote would be to paint them yourself or powder coat or your stock ones. I like the look of them better.

Those black wheels are ugly, just my opinion. your king ranch are worth more, just "plastidip" your stockers black. It peels right off and doesn't damage the finish if you wanted to sell them. I'd say you could get an easy 1k for your stockers which would pay for an average wheel of your choice or 70-90% of a nicer set of wheels.

ugly wheels and the tires on light duty trucks wear nicely if the are the AT/KO's.
Those wheels are no where near 1300 bucks. i paid 1800 bucks for my 35"Mud grapplers and a set of black and chrome 18x9 Eagle alloys new off ebay.
If you had nearly new tires on your wheels. ive seen those go for 1000 bucks to 12or13hundred depending on the tread depth and how bad somebody wants them. THose stock 20s are a pretty popular wheel, probably my favorite they have ever came out with.

i sold my stock 20's on here to a member for $800 delivered, not the KR , no gold paint on them... i then used the $800 to pay for 1/2 for the BMF rims that i wanted. i would not settle if i were you ... get what you can for your stockers and apply the money twards rims you are going to be really happy with......those stock 20's are probably the best stock wheel Ford has ever done and they have value and are very sellable....

As an aside - the truck that the black wheels are on in the first post has EARLY box side 4x4 logos on it.

The wheel offset is different before 2005 (leaf spring vs coil spring front diff).

The wheels would have looked goofy with the incorrect offset and may have even caused rub issues.
