Stock Headlights

So I recently replaced the stock headlights with a set of Sylvania Silverstar Ultra bulbs, and really didn't notice much difference over stock (maybe its just me). How important is that reflector piece that goes in front of the bulb and is it removable? I only ask because this truck is the only vehicle I have with this setup and the other times I have done this, there was a noticeable change.

Very important. The bulbs light is reflected back to the reflector housing and shot outwards to the road.

Well, isn't that special... Thanks for the info! I just got some Rigid Industries LEDs for my grille guard so no biggie.

That's good, I'm glad you didn't post back saying too late you Artie ripped open the headlights and taken it off!
