30" light bar mounted up
Finally got around to taking some pics of my 30" light bar mounted up. This thing is BRIGHT! I had a 13.5" light bar on before, and it was bright but looked slightly out of place on my bumper since it was fairly short. I couldnt resist the urge for the bigger bar so I ordered one from a member on here (both LED bars I got from him). Im not sure what I did before LED light bars. I keep meaning to get a night time shot, but keep forgeting. I will work on getting one.

Thanks guys. It really does light up the night. I suggest it for anyone looking for more light output. I used to have aftermarket HID offroad lights, and this thing blows them out of the water.

I have been curious about these LED bars in lieu of adding a conventional light bar with HID or like units. Can u describe what type of beam these bars throw out ....wide...narrow? How far down the road compared to fog, driving or pencil?

This 30" bar is a combo bar. The outside 8 LED's are in a fog patern, and the middle LED's are in the driving/long range pattern. You get the best of both worlds. Wide partern up close and Long Range. The wide pattern LED's throw light about 100' in front of you, and the center LED's throw them a long ways. I will see if I cant try to figure out a number for you.

That looks like a Rigid Industries light bar. Pretty cool.

Yeah the Rigid Bars can be had in three combinations. Spot, Flood, or Spot/Flood Combo. Also available in amber or clear.

It looks like a rigid, but its not. It is another company, I will have to get home to look at the box to see who makes it. My buddy runs a 30" rigid and we lined our trucks up side by side at night each turning the bars on and off and you cant tell a difference in distance or light output. According to the spec sheet my bar outputs the exact lumins as the rigid, and I would believe it. Rigid has a nice warranty, but I can buy 3 of these light bars for the price of a rigid. The way I look at it, if it breaks, I will buy another one and still be ahead by $500 over a rigid. These are quality construction. All aluminum housings with nice lenses. The bases are all metal as well. This light bar draws a few more amps than a rigid, but still is very low. I purchased this light bar from a member on here who is selling them. pm kjdavis for details.
