$10 Side vent mod

This kinda happened on accident, but had some wire mesh that covers gutters in my gargage and it just kind of fell into place......anyways I bought this stuff from lowes a month or two back and didn't think anything about it. Took me 20 minute yesterday and this was the outcome.....thoughts?

that stuff is pretty soft aluminum IIRC

do you think it will hold up fine ?

Sorry the pictures are bad, best I can do with my iPhone for now. I did put a coat of clearcoat on them, so we will see how they hold up. Plus it's not like they are going to be taking much of a beating where they are.

clear was a good choice to block oxidization
