Are there any good projector headlights out there for an 08 F250? I've heard to stay away from them, but the ones on my mothers Lexus and her Lotus are bright as hell!!!

But you don't have halo's then. And that's the reason I was looking at the projector headlights. Can't you just change the lenses out for better ones? Or is that not the problem?

Clayton I'm interested to see how the light output is. Are the projectors on the inside of the light or on the backside and can be removed Easily?
Either way, if your not happy- open em up and stuff a better projector in there! I just admit, I was pretty intimidated when I first started my retrofit, but as I got closer to the end and started testing at night I knew I was making it happen! And it wasnt that hard, just time consuming. Sent from iPhone |

I havent had a chance to get any night pics, ill go get a couple now with phone but the car is right in front etc so wont be the best.
Once I see how the HIDs are I may or may not swap projectors. Eforkist: Check MTS's thread, he did an amazing job on his lights! I cheaped out and bought some..lol |

Regarding the projectors im not 100% sure on the removability.

ebay Projector headlights & Retrofit? - TundraTalk.net - Toyota Tundra Discussion Forum
answer to the question about removal, its possible. I have spyder projectors with hids replacing the halogen ones and the light output is disappointing for the money spent, best option is to swap for a better projector like mts678, he really did do the right thing. |
