Painting headlights

I was thinking about cracking open my headlights today and painting them. On my dodge I used to have I didn't put them in the oven I just heated them up with a heat gun and pryed them open, and was wondering if I could just do te same thing with these lights? Also I've searched for the thread that list the steps of painting them but I can't seem to find it, could anyone link it please and thanks?

I prefer to bake em, 15-18 minutes at 250. Took me just a few minutes to split one.
