Painted Grill from chrome to White

Does anyone out there have a truck with my color scheme that they have painted the chrome grill white to match? Leaving the inserts tan? I have thought about doing this a few times but I would like to see it first. Or if I bought another grill that looks the same and paint it can I swap them out in case I end up not liking it?

Post up ideas and thoughts if you got em.

thanks

I think that would look great, you should be able to swap it out no problem if you had another.

I have debating doing this as well. I think it will look good. It would have to look better than the bubbling that I have on my chrome grill. My paint guy said that if I wanted to do it I would need to find an XL grill to paint. Painting the chrome grill wouldnt work. It would peel and chip in a hurry.

I have a white and tan KR with a white FX4 grill. It looks way better then the stock one did.

Yeah I really like that....now to find one. I think the FX4 grill would look better than painting my stock grill.

I think once I get the headlights done. I'll actually like the looks of the front end. When these trucks came out I thought they where the ugliest thing on the road

If I were you I wouldn't do the headlights I think it looks perfect how it is. I havn't seen a set of headlights on a 6.4 that have been painted that I thought looked good... but thats just me.
