So....when you open the door the cargo lights don't come on?
What about your interior lights? |

The switch is you gauge cluster dimmer. Roll the dimmer to the top and it will turn on the cargo light. Or as suggested, open your door and the cargo light should come on. If it doesnt come on when you open the door or roll the dimmer to the top, do the interior lights come on? Or does nothing turn on? Could be a fuse if nothing comes on, but if the interior light come on and not the cargo light, then I would grab a volt meter and check the leads. That would eliminate the question of a bad bulb and give you somewhere to start back tracking through the wires for a short or break.

Scenarios: A. If the interior light DID come on when you opened the door and the cargo light did NOT come on. B. If the interior light did NOT come on when you opened the door and the cargo light did NOT come on as well, then it may be a bad fuse is all. A or B my friend?

[QUOTE=SWhetsel;3135814]For clarification, I think you mean that you tried just opening the door and you also tried scrolling the dimmer to the top. But when you did either of those two things, I understand that the cargo light did not, but did the interior light come on?

Do you or anyone you know have a volt meter? I would test the socket for voltage, and if there isnt any, then you have to back trace the wire until you find the short/break.
